So why does your small business need a website? We’ve got three reasons for you and they’re applicable to every business, whether you’re interested in growth or not.
Reason #1: Smartphones have turned the internet into a phonebook.
According to Pew Research, 77% of Americans have a smartphone and according to Google, when a need or question arises, 94% of smartphone users use their smartphone to address those questions and needs. This could be as simple as locating your business address or phone number. It could also be more complex, like researching problems that your product or service could solve. If you want these online researchers to find you, then you have to have a website.
Reason #5: Websites streamline the sales process.
A website helps you drive sales by simply existing when people are researching a problem that your business solves. However, it also gives you an opportunity sell yourself, your business, and your products or services all before someone picks up the phone to give you a call. Not only can your website provide potential customers with information, as you begin integrating your website into your sales process more heavily, you can even have customers provide you with information or allow transactions to take place online – streamlining the sales process and reducing your workload.

When you Google your service or product, we can pretty much guarantee that a competitor will pop up.
